Raytheon Field Engineering is hiring a Senior Field Support Intelligence Specialist. In this role you will provide real-time critical thinking support and image exploitation to produce intelligence products for key military team decision makers.

This unaccompanied onsite position is in Northern Iraq, for an international assignment with additional compensation.

• Must be willing to travel in country via military air and land transport.
• Ability to work in an austere environment for a minimum of 72 hours a week.

Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignment including comprehensive post-offer medical examination.   

What You Will Do

• Assist in the production of imagery-based products to include visible, infrared, radar, and full motion video in response to routine and ad hoc requests.
• Advise the military key team members of current and future ISR taskings and sensor and platform capabilities.
• Conduct security overwatch of counter improvised explosive device (IED) missions, counter unmanned aerial systems (UAS) missions, force protection, and high value convoys and patrols.
• Monitor intelligence chat rooms to stay apprised of the current tactical situation and ISR sensor status.
• Conduct periodic checks of ISR and force protection video feed status and coordinate with Field Service Representatives.
• Train US military personnel on the program’s system functions and operations.
• Train new military and contract operators as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years’ prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• Experience as an Intelligence Analyst who understands the use of aerial imagery, full motion video (FMV), Ground Moving Target Indicator (GMTI), and other electronic monitoring devices used to collect and evaluate information in support of U.S. military operations.
• Experience with source, imagery, or common ground station analysis identifying conventional and unconventional military installations, facilities, weapon systems and equipment.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret / SCI security clearance, or Top Secret with SCI Eligibility is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Degree in Intelligence, Intelligence Analysis, or Intelligence Studies is preferred.
• Additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Experience working on US government computer systems and interfacing with military customers.
• Experience troubleshooting computer hardware, software, servers, and networks.
• Experience using Microsoft Windows and Office products.
• Ability to work in an exciting environment with short timelines.
• Ability to work in an austere environment for a minimum of 72 hours a week.
• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team to resolve problems.
• Ability to work independently and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
