About the role:
In this role you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference to the Royal Navy Training Design Service. As the ME Training Designer, you’ll support the Integrated Training Design Service to deliver learning that is blended, active and provides customer delight.

Desirable
- Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation model (ADDIE model) and Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT).
- Training and/or Instructional Design.
- Program management tools and applications.
- Knowledge and practical experience of UK Ministry of Defence procedures and policies.
- Contributing within a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to technical problems.
Responsibilities
- To support the Training Design Manager in ensuring effective and efficient delivery of the Training Contract and Projects for Training Design activities.
- The production and development of training design documentation in accordance with the Document Upkeep Plan, and newly identified, training requirements.
- Conduct the design, maintenance and revalidation of training documentation to DSAT standards
- Provide SME advice on training design issues and policy
- Monitor assigned courses to maintain accreditation requirements iaw tri-Service and single Service policies.
- Ensure compliance with MoD regulations and procedures
- Develop an assessment process to ensure it reflects current training objectives.
- Provide training design support information to BR2000 (3) (2).
- Liaise with the Customer, external agencies, training groups, Media Developers, Examination Cell (EME) and Training Planning over the development of training documentation and the planning of courses.
- Represent the training design function at relevant internal and external meetings.
- Undertake such other tasks as may be allocated to them by their manager in accordance with experience.
- Ensure Company Health, Safety and Environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times
- Responsible for the continuous professional development of yourself, and the coaching of Training Designers that you are allocated to set them up for success.
- Follow security standards and system requirements to protect data and ensure smooth operations.
- Any other duties required to support the Integrated Training Design Service.
