Pay Rate:
- CO: $74.33–$78.30/hr
- AL: $75.51–$79.54/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
This position requires a security clearance, and candidates are required to be U.S. Citizens.
Shape the Digital Backbone of National DefensePDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled and security-cleared Software Engineer – Developer to support mission-critical aerospace and defense systems. Join a team working on the cutting edge of missile defense technology, contributing to the safety and security of the United States and its allies.
What You’ll DoAs a key contributor to a high-impact national defense program, you will:
- Design and develop Java-based mathematical algorithms for command and control systems
- Support the full software development lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, and issue resolution
- Collaborate in Agile teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software
- Develop and refine software requirements and system architecture
- Execute and document integration and testing activities
- Work 100 onsite in a secure, collaborative environment
- Travel domestically up to 10 as needed
What You BringRequired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 9+ years of engineering experience (or 7+ with a Master’s, 4+ with a PhD)
- Proficiency in Java or Java Spring
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with missile defense or aerospace systems
- Background in systems integration and test processes
- Exposure to defense industry standards and secure development practices

Pay Details: $74.33 to $78.30 per hour
