Raytheon’s Naval Systems Department is seeking a System Engineer to join our System Integration and Test team as a Lab Manager in Tewksbury, MA. The Naval Systems Department provides system engineering, integration, verification, and validation for numerous naval programs including surface ship, submarine, mine-countermeasure, torpedo, and missile launching systems. The System Engineer will lead local Lab Management for a Naval Power Program, responsible for property control of all program equipment.
What You Will Do
- Lead Lab Management activities and coordinate with program.
- Maintain a detailed Property Control Database of all program equipment.
- Act as Property Custodian for all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).
- Support end users request to repair and troubleshoot failed shipset and desktop equipment.
- Facilitate equipment moves around the facility.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving of GFE and non-GFE Equipment.
- Maintain a safe workspace in all Data Centers, Engineering Labs and Office Areas.
- Work with Facilities Management to resolve issues, repairs and upgrades in Data Centers.
- Perform physical work including: racking heavy equipment, pulling elevated floor tiles, running cables under elevated flooring.
- Interface with both Engineering and Program Leadership.
- This role will be based out of Tewksbury, MA.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior engineering experience.
- Experience with lab, shipyard, or test facility.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience in property control and management.
- Experience with Excel and data management.
- Experience with Equipment repair and troubleshooting including: Servers, Switches, Workstations, Networking.
- Experience working with the US Navy customer.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
