Under general Supervision works in Warehouse, Storage, Salvage Yard, Shipping, HazMat, and Delivery areas. Performs industrial warehouse duties and work assignments related to movement, handling, oversight and management of materials and equipment. Requires knowledge, experience and use of various material handling systems, equipment and vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Loads, unloads, and moves stock
- Issues and transports material, including stock and other special storage items, between storage areas and delivery points and makes interplant deliveries
- Operates and performs work using general purpose trucks and power-lift trucks, and other comparable equipment
- Checks, identifies, and verifies accuracy of records and quantities of material received, stored, shipped, or issued
- Performs Physical Inventory count of material and reports out of balance conditions
- Uses barcode scanner and related ADPE to record transactions and update CMMS system
- Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen to work at Arnold AFB
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Three years of progressive experience in Industrial Warehousing
- Minimum of one year experience on a forklift. Use of industrial powered and mechanical material handling equipment, (side loaders, stock pickers, pallet jacks, etc.) desired
- Valid State Driver’s License
- Must possess High School Diploma or equivalent
