Responsibilities:
Validate and fulfill maintenance needs by assessing non-production material and tool requests.
Coordinate with support teams to address maintenance issues and mitigate scheduling or budget impacts.
Analyze and resolve changes in maintenance requirements, supporting both planned and emergent work.
Manage procurement processes for tool services and maintenance support materials.
Review inventory usage data to maximize cost-effective resource allocation.
Utilize inventory systems to track and fulfill orders for shop supplies, perishable tools, and capital/expense tools.
Ensure compliance with specifications and maintenance processes during product analysis.
Oversee inventory redistribution and support the removal of obsolete materials.
Generate operational and contractual reports as required.
Operates independently under limited supervision.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Active Secret Clearance (required to start)
3+ years of experience with test asset and/or calibrated equipment management
3+ years of experience managing Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk
Experience using computer-based inventory management systems
Willingness to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Air Force Logistics Supply Systems, DoD inventory procedures, and applicable regulations
Experience with GFE/GFP and government inventory audit processes
Proficiency in GOLD / GOLDesp inventory management systems
Background supporting flight line maintenance in compliance with Ground Operating Procedures (GOPs) and DCMA 8210.1C
Strong organizational skills for managing complex inventory and tool data
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital inventory systems for data entry and tool tracking
