The Opportunity -
The AH-64E Apache is the worlds most advanced and proven attack helicopter. It integrates innovative technologies to aid the crew in decision making, offering a new level of battlefield dominance through enhanced performance, increased situational awareness, superior survivability, and improved target detection, acquisition and engagement.
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Specialist (Governance & Stocktaking), to support the AH-64E Apache helicopter program. The Australian Apaches will join the growing global fleet of more than 1280 aircraft operating in 18 countries, including coalition and regional partners.
This role is based in Townsville working alongside BDA and Australian Army members.
As the Warehouse Specialist (Governance & Stocktaking), you will:
- Be a vital part of the Supply Chain Capability and contribute to the business growth strategy
- Conduct stocktake activities and all associated reporting requirements for all Apache Product within the warehouse facility
- Investigate discrepancies and correct errors identified in performance reporting tools or dashboards.
- Maintain Audit records for Commonwealth Furnished equipment and Contractor Managed materials
- Implement processes inline with defence policy to optimise stock control and traceability
- Work with the warehouse teams to support a seamless supply chain operation
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated 5 years + experience in Defence aerospace/Foreign Military Sales (FMS) supply chain management
- Experience in Defence warehousing and distribution systems and methodologies
- A working knowledge of the Australian Defence Force Electronic Supply Chain Manual, specifically stocktaking processes and methodologies
- A strong working knowledge of Defence Aviation Logistic IT systems
- The ability to work within a team
- Excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence
