Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified A&P Mechanic with hands-on experience maintaining CRJ series aircraft (CRJ200/700/900). The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting discrepancies, and ensuring airworthiness in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance, inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting on CRJ series aircraft.
  • Conduct operational checks and verify repairs through functional testing.
  • Ensure all work is documented in accordance with FAA regulations, company policies, and procedures.
  • Comply with all safety protocols and actively participate in maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and other maintenance personnel.
  • Remove and replace aircraft components, such as landing gear, hydraulic systems, flight controls, and cabin systems.
  • Interpret technical data including wiring diagrams, blueprints, AMM, CMMs, and maintenance task cards.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in proper condition and report discrepancies.
  • Provide mentorship or guidance to junior mechanics or apprentices if required.
  • Respond to AOG situations and support line maintenance as needed.
Qualifications
  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working on CRJ series aircraft (200/700/900)
  • Strong working knowledge of FAA regulations and airworthiness requirements
  • Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems (e.g., TRAX, Corridor, or similar)
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, drawings, and schematics
  • Must have own basic set of hand tools
  • Ability to work day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or associates in aviation maintenance preferred)
Preferred Experience
  • Prior work experience with regional airline or MRO facility
  • Structural or avionics background a plus
  • Familiarity with Bombardier maintenance documentation and MEL procedures
  • Previous involvement in heavy checks, modifications, or interior refurbishments
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders or stands for extended periods
  • Work in confined spaces or at heights as required
