VDCI is currently hiring for a Full-Time Aircraft Maintenance Technician in the Ogden, UT area!

This is an hourly based position that will pay between $27.00 - $34.00 per hour. With an IA (Inspection Authorization), this position will pay up to $38.00 per hour.
Overtime hours available during our busier season from June - September.
Travel to Sacramento, CA multiple times per year (all travel expenses covered by us).
What do our Aircraft Maintenance Technicians do?
An Aircraft Maintenance Technician performs all field and other related work required to service each of the company’s customers and to help the business grow by performing the following duties personally.
Perform efficient troubleshooting, aircraft maintenance, and repair in accordance with applicable regulations, manufacturer’s instructions, and company policies
Perform inspections and maintenance on all planes including: Piper Aztec PA23-250, Piper Navajo Chieftain PA31-350, Cessna 188, Air Tract 502B
Ensure consistent, accurate aircraft maintenance records by properly documenting & completing required forms, computer entries, and logbook entries
Follow all policies and procedures
Keep a clean and orderly work environment
Perform job duties in a safe manner
Perform other duties as assigned
Is willing to do what it takes to get the job done with a positive attitude
Knowledge of light twin aircraft
(A&P) License - required
1 year of direct experience working on single or twin engine Lycoming or Continental engines - preferred
High school diploma or GED
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Have proficient writing and verbal skills
Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
The work requires strenuous physical exertion and the employee may be required to drive, stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel and crouch for extended periods of time, as well as see, talk, hear and use hands and arms to grasp, handle, reach and feel.
Knowledge and understanding of FAA airworthiness requirements
Knowledge and understanding of FAA part 91 required
Must pass pre-employment background screen and drug test
Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass motor vehicle record search
