Materials & Process Engineering, Northeast & Southwest is seeking a technical support professional for its Tucson, AZ location. This individual will provide technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks, including the development and maintenance of the Materials & Process Engineering Graphic User Interface system (AKA “MEG”), a customer-facing workflow database and computing support for scientific laboratory instrumentation.
What You Will Do:
Manage the development of MEG and transition from COMPASS for the Materials Verification group in M&PE.
Update the MEG tool to accept material certification requests from internal and external business partners.
Integrate a workflow that tracks material movement and technical data, such as material test results and engineering and reports results to internal manufacturing partners.
Integrate the MEG tool to communicate with the Shelf Life Test Instruction System and the external Chemical Management System.
Maintain a 4 hour or less response time metric to issues and system downtime issue for to support production schedules.
Interface with OEM service representative to maintain and troubleshoot computing assets attached to analytical laboratory instrumentation, electronic or electro-mechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems.
Collaborate with Raytheon Digital Technology organizations to address accessibility and ensure information security compliance.
Support, as needed, laboratory functions including metrology, procurement, and compliance activities.
The Database Infrastructure & Maintenance Tech Lead job is in Tucson, AZ and the position is onsite.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience. In absence of a degree, 12+ years of experience. An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for additional years of experience
Experience working with SQL databases for data manipulation and reporting.
Qualifications We Prefer:
15+ years of database architecture experience.
Master’s degree in Information Systems
Existing Secret Clearance.
Advanced problem-solving skills to investigate, understand, and solve complex issues related to computing.
Experience in data migration planning and execution.
Expert-level knowledge in information ecosystem management, information security, and database administration.
Knowledge of SAP, PDM, and other Engineering related systems.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work alone or in a collaborative team environment.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
