Why join Raytheon
Raytheon UK’s, Training Transformation Business, is looking for an ambitious and capable Junior Project Manager to join our growing team. The Training Transformation team delivers a wide range of programmes across four key areas: Training Integration, Training Equipment, Training Delivery and Training Simulation. We need a person who can work within a close-knit team, with the confidence to communicate and express ideas, twinned with the humility to listen to other people’s ideas. We need an individual who has a firm foundation of Project Management understanding and experience, but who is willing to learn and who wants to be developed.
This role will report to a Programme Manager within the business area.
Main Duties:
- Support the development of programme and project plans.
- Support the delivery of programmes and projects; with the opportunity to lead selected Projects within the portfolio.
- Support the regular review and update of cross-functional management plans.
- Identify risks and support the development and execution of mitigation plans.
- Contribute to the identification and delivery of enhancements to systems and processes.
- Support the programme Change Process, including the management of Baseline Change Requests and Work Authorisations.
- Monitor Programme and Project progress and escalate issues that impact progress.
- Compile and submit programme status reports and briefs to the Customer and Raytheon management.
- Sustain collaborative relationships with the Customer, Partners and across Raytheon.
