GE Aerospace is seeking a visionary and thought leader to join our Digital Technology team as a Senior Director, Supplier Experience and Analytics. This critical role will be responsible for setting the strategy and driving the digital transformation of Procurement & Supplier Management with specific emphasis on improving the Supplier experience. Specific areas will include supplier onboarding, supplier risk and performance management, collaboration, capacity & readiness and data sharing. Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy for supplier experience and analytics, defining "what good looks like" for the organization.
- Act as a key thought leader in the value stream, processes, and data required to support the procurement and supplier management processes and organization needs.
- Lead the digital transformation of supplier onboarding, risk management, and performance management processes Drive supplier collaboration and data sharing initiatives, including the secure exchange of engineering drawings via long-term agreements.
- Connect teams and processes across multiple organizations to simplify the way GE Aerospace does business in support of its suppliers and internal operations.
- Leverages deep process/domain expertise and partners with PO and technical development team. Influences key stakeholders in design and planning decisions. Combines the customer vision with technical feasibility to convert business needs into functional specifications/user stories. Works with customers/stakeholders to prioritize needs. Creates the strategic roadmap for the product. Coordinates work of several parallel teams to deliver on higher level outcomes. Responsible for transparent delivery and maximizing returns. Focuses on execution for the duration of a product release.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of digital solutions with business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Embrace new technology such as AI to introduce new ways of thinking and working to deliver actionable insights and improve decision-making processes.
- Work closely with the team implementing Oracle Fusion and drive optimization efforts across the value stream to support supplier-related processes.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure GE Aerospace remains at the forefront of digital transformation.
- Leads others to find creative solutions within complex manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Employs sophisticated operational/product management, manufacturing or engineering techniques. Interaction with adjacent functions needed to solve issues. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 10 years of professional experience OR associates degree with minimum of 13 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 15 years of professional experience
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Program Management.
- Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
